Anemomilos
Anemomilos is a building with great history which starts even when the locals used it to grind wheat using the power of the wind in order to get their flour and make their bread. With Anemomilos’ help and the ability of its creators and the people who used it ,a lot of generations survived and they left us this magnificent place full of positive vibes and beauty. When its operation stopped because of the appearance of the first machines , Anemomilos was uses as a residence and has been used as one up to now. So staying in Anemomilos you are not into just an ordinary tourist accommodation but you will feel its majesty.
It consists of three floors. In the ground floor you will find the kitchen and the bathroom. Upstairs there is a small bedroom equipped with a semi-circle bed appropriate for one adult or two children. On the third floor there is the master bedroom with a double bed and 360o view of the Ionian Sea where you van see starting from the left the island Kefalonia ,Peloponnese , the little islands Oxies and the east side of Zakynthos island. Following is the mountainous part of the island. Outside the villa there is fully equipped kitchen ,outdoor shower, heated Jacuzzi ,a big wooden swing and a pool.

"Anemomilos Korithi is one of the best places I've ever stayed. A beautiful and unusual location, secluded up on the mountainside, completely peaceful with incredible 360 views of the coast and the mountains. It was everything we wanted from a relaxing summer break somewhere a bit unusual and not your classic tourist holiday. The facilities were fantastic and Dina was a fantastic host, always willing to answer questions or offer us recommendations from restaurants to swimming spots. We would definitely recommend it and hope to go back!"

I spent a month alone at the mill and it was truly a fairy-tale stay. It's so picturesque, the views are amazing (watching sunrise from the bedroom windows was pure magic) and the property was equipped with everything I needed for my chilled vacation.
I didn't have a car, but didn't actually need it (except for a few supermarket rides) - there's a store within walking distance and the area has a lot of walking routes to explore. Dina and Zafiris made me immediately feel at home with their hospitality, their help was exceptional.
It was a stay I will never forget and I would love to come back one day, thank you! 🙂

Anemos is located in Korithi very close to Agios Nikolaos beach and the port where there is direct connection with the island of Kefalonia. It is 30km away from Zakynthos town, saint Dionisios church,Byzantine Museum, Dionisios Solomos square and the International Airport of the island.
It offers a balcony with garden and sea view ,swimming pool and terrace. It also includes garden ,barbecue ,free wifi and private parking area.
In the villa you will find a fully equipped kitchen, living room ,smart TV and air-condition. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Anemos studio is stone built and actually it is built on a real rock at the bottom of which there is a natural small cave carefully lit with appropriate light combinations. The kitchen includes oven, fridge, dishwasher and the bathroom has a shower with hydromassage column and ,of course, washing machine and hairdryer.

It was a lovely and unique Greek style stone house. The love for detail was beautiful, with a big palm tree, a very clean and well fitting pool and wooden furnitures. Our hoists were the most loving and sweet people there, we received deserts and fresh towels and many local tips for good places to eat and relax at. It was just an amazing stay at Anemos, unforgettable, not to mention the breathtaking view of the ocean. I can’t recommend this highly enough!!! Thank you Dina and Zafiris for this amazing vacation home.

Best stay we had in Zakynthos! The stone house is very welldecorated, the bed is comfortable, the shower is great, there’s a swimmingpool to cool off with a perfect view over the sea; couldn’t hope for more. Ntina and Zafiris, who are living in the house next door, are very warm, friendly and helpful. On our first day they brought us a bottle of homemade wine as a welcome present. And they insisted to bring us to the Makris Gialos Beach (15 minutes drive) when we only asked them to book us a taxi. Book this place, you won’t regret it 🙂

Zakynthos Guide
Zakynthos Island, or Zante, is one of the more diverse islands I’ve visited in Greece. The southern tip near Vasilikos features sandy stretches of beach and local restaurants amidst groves of trees. The main port (‘Port of Zakynthos’), where most everyone arrives by boat or plane, is busy and dense with shops and restaurants packed in along the coast. Inland around Volimes you’ll find sprawling olive groves and winding roads, with the occasional sleepy, traditional Greek town.
